Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi () (21 April 1926 – 4 March 1978), known as Syed Hashmi (), was an academic, poet, writer, and philosopher in Pakistan who is widely regarded as having inspired the Balochi literature. He is considered important figures in Balochi literature, with literary work in Balochi language, Urdu, Persian, and Arabic languages.
